The terms of the Privacy Policy (“Policy”) provided herein by PFC Consulting Ltd. on behalf of Ministry of Power (“we”, “our”, “us”, “PRAAPTI”) govern your use of any and all of this website being https://praapti.in/ and applications thereof (collectively, “App” or “Application”) and all the information or data accessible on or from the Application (“Information”). We are committed to protecting the security of your Information and safeguarding privacy of your Information and this Policy sets out the manner in which Ministry of Power may collect, use and share any Information you may provide through this App. The Ministry of Power reserves the right, at its discretion, to change, modify, add or remove portions of this Policy at any time. We recommend that you review this Policy periodically to ensure that you are aware of the current privacy practices. As a user/visitor of the Application, you hereby acknowledge having read and accepted this Policy. If a user/visitor does not agree with this Policy, such user/ visitor should not register, or avail of the services being offered by PRAAPTI. By mere use of the Applications and by providing Information you expressly consent to our use and disclosure of the Information in accordance with this Policy.
This Policy is being provided in compliance with Information Technology Act, 2000 as amended and read with the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011.

Collection of Information
I. Our primary goal is to enhance transparency and encourage best practices in power purchase transactions by obtaining periodic updates/information from onboard generation companies (GenCo) regarding their power sale invoicing and payment receipts. To achieve this goal, PRAAPTI may collect the following types of Information:
a. "Invoice Information" which shall mean all the invoice details which have been billed by the GenCo to the distribution companies (“Discoms”).
b. "Receivable Information" which shall mean the details of the payments/receipts received from the Discoms towards payment of the invoices raised.
c. Information required at the stage of registration of an account by the user which would include details such as the type of power generator, name of Authorised person along with contact details, name of billed Discom, PPAs details etc. We may require further information from time to time which shall be duly notified and sought with your consent through your registering on the Application.
d. any other Information that may be sought on the Application from time to time.
e.  The Application may install cookies or other similar data collection software in your computer system/device for such purpose and you hereby consent to the same. We may use "cookies", beacons or similar electronic tools to collect information to assign each visitor a unique, random number as a ‘User Identification’ (User ID) to understand the user's individual interests using the identified computer. Unless you voluntarily identify yourself (through registration, login for example), we will have no way of knowing who you are, even if we assign a cookie to your computer. The only personal information a cookie can contain is the information you supply. A cookie cannot read data off your hard drive.

II.  You represent that the Information you provide from time to time is and shall be correct, current and updated and you have all the rights, permissions and consents to provide such Information. You further represent that your providing of the Information and PRAAPTI’s consequent storage, collection, usage, transfer, access or processing of the same shall not be in violation of any third party agreement, laws, judgments, orders or decrees.

Use of Information
I.  You may need to provide PRAAPTI with authentic Information and such Information provided by you to PRAAPTI or otherwise captured by PRAAPTI may be used for a number of purposes connected with PRAAPTI’s operations which may include the following:
a.  Analyzing the GenCo receivables and Discom payables
b.  Analyzing the trends of the Information submitted;
c.  Dealing with requests, enquiries and complaints, customer services and related activities;
d.  Responding to your queries and fulfilling your requests for information regarding the Applications;
e.  Protecting the integrity of the Application.

Disclosure
I.  PRAAPTI does not sell or rent any Information collected by it through the Application. Your Information will be kept confidential to the maximum possible extent and will be used to support your relationship with PRAAPTI. However, the Information collected by the Application may be disclosed under the following circumstances:

a.  PRAAPTI may disclose your Information to relevant ministries, government companies and related agencies who provide various services including, contact information verification, payment processing, customer service, website hosting, data analysis, policy decisions, infrastructure provision, IT services, and other similar services, under confidentiality restrictions, in order to enable such vendor and service providers to provide the services subscribed to by you;
b. As necessary or appropriate:
to comply with legal processes, applicable laws, including laws outside your country of residence, or pursuant to any order or directions of the court, government or statutory order;

Information Security and Storage
I.  PRAAPTI uses reasonable security measures to adopt reasonable security standards as mandated under applicable laws to safeguard your Information. We also protect your stored password through the use of encryption technology.
II.  Your Information will primarily be stored in electronic form. However, certain Information can also be stored in physical form. PRAAPTI may enter into agreement with third parties (in or outside of India) to store your Information. These third parties may have their own security standards to safeguard your Information. PRAAPTI will on commercial reasonable basis require such third parties to adopt reasonable security standards to safeguard your Information. However, we shall not be responsible for the policies and practices employed by the owners of such third party websites, including but not limited to their collection, use and disclosure of your Information, nor do we offer any (and expressly disclaims any) guarantee, representation, warranty, or covenant of any kind with respect to the collection, use or disclosure of your Information by any third party site that is linked from (or is otherwise associated with) the Application.
III.  Notwithstanding anything contained in this Policy or elsewhere, PRAAPTI shall not be held responsible for any loss, damage or misuse of your Information, if such loss, damage or misuse is attributable to a Force Majeure Event. A "Force Majeure Event" shall mean any event that is beyond the reasonable control of PRAAPTI and shall include, without limitation, sabotage, fire, flood, explosion, acts of God, civil commotion, strikes or industrial action of any kind, riots, insurrection, war, acts of government, computer hacking, unauthorized access to computer data and storage device, computer crashes, breach of security and encryption, etc.

Access, Correction and Deletion
PRAAPTI provides you with all Information that PRAAPTI maintains about you such as the transaction and invoice information. This may be provided to you on request, in case you experience any doubts. If you wish to have the Information that you have provided to PRAAPTI deleted, you can always do so by sending a request to us on the e-mail id praapti_pfccl@pfcindia.com. You also agree and acknowledge that certain Information cannot be corrected or deleted or prohibited to be deleted as required under any applicable law, law enforcement requests or under any judicial proceedings.
